The ModusBox’s JD Edwards Connector aims to provide integration from and to Oracle’s JD Edwards™ EnterpriseOne™. It leverages the power of Oracle’s Java Dynamic Connector and XML List to provide interoperability with Oracle’s JD Edwards EnterpriseOne™ and external systems.

Migrating from Older Versions

The attribute imageFolderCache in JDE Configuration has been removed. In the XML configuration, look for the <jde:config> tag and delete parameter imageFolderCache

From this version, the JDE Connector will save the temporary specs in System Temporary Directory (java.io.tmpdir) under the folder with the same name of the environment.

Features

  1. Redirecting JDE Logger to Mule Logger. It allows seeing JDE activity in both Console and JDE file defined in jdelog.properties.

  2. DNS resolver has been added to allow JDE Connectors works on CloudHub with VPC.

  3. The connector now has the possibility to deploy more than one set of INI files for each environment.

  4. Spec Cache Folder in the configuration now is optional. By default, this folder will be the system temporary directory.

  5. From now on, the operation will throw its own Exception object instead of throwing always RuntimeException object. The new exceptions are BSFNTransactionException, CallBSFNException, JobStatusException, SubmitUBEException, EventException. These exceptions are extended of JDEConnectorException.

  6. JDE Connector testing has been improved to show the real error validating the connections.

  7. The Call Business Function operation now will return a XML in the parameter_BSFNDetailErrors instead of a String. This XML will be a representation of CallObjectErrorList object.

Version 1.3.0 Fixed in this Release

JDE 9.2 do not accept a null UTIME as input nor output. There was an error in the log: Not attempting to create JDECALENDAR object We are adding a non-null value as input in spite of the parameter is output

  1. New parameters allow the invocation of BSFNs with the benefit of gaining more control over errors: ( _BSFNThrowExceptionWithErrorsYN, _BSFNReturnCode, _BSFNNumberOfErrors, _BSFNDetailErrors)

  2. Capability to include Data Selection to filter the records to process when submitting UBEs.

  3. Poll Events - It allow get out outbound events that it come from an application that uses a Master Business Function to generate transactions with Interoperability activated.

  4. Poll EDI Events - It allow to capture outbound transactions that it generated from EDI Module applications.

  5. BSFN Transactions - It allow to invoke one or more BSFN in the same database transaction.
